Not a problem. We are looking to add at least 50 drivers from that area. You would be out of the Greer SC terminal.

    Just an FYI.....
We except applicants from all of the lower 48.

This is the process to go flatbed.
You need to attend the phase 1 tie down class. It goes on Wednesday and thursday in Phoenix and Gary. Also Greer has phase 1.
At the class you we be taught the fundementals of flatbed. FMCSA laws on securement.
You will be issued steel toes, hardhat, safety vest& eye protection.

If you are a new driver you would go out on the road for 240 hours. During that time we have a list of loads that we desire the students to get. Sometimes its not possible to get all the loads. Its understandable.

Then you go to Phase 2 tiedown in Phoenix or Gary. You take the written and Prac app portion. If you pass you get assigned a flatbed truck.
***currently no phase 2 in greer.

If you are an existing company driver you do phase 1 then go with a mentor for 50 to 100 hours.
    Then do phase 2.

Also we have a 5 day class run every two months for owner operators.
During the class we put your truck in the body shop. Get a headache rack and boxes installed.

In theory you will be out of the shop equipped and ready to pull flatbed freight on friday evening.

And again call 1-800-800-FLAT with any questions.
