Swift, had a dumb swift driver hold up the shipping dock

Wow the admins. are pretty quick here!

I left a post name "Is it true....." under the Experienced Driver section.

I asked "Is it true that all Hawaiian truckers look like Dog, Bounty Hunter?"

Someone asked "if I was on acid?"

I said "NO drugs are bad! Specifically hallucinogenics! I don't want to be hallucinating she-male banshees dancing around the interstate at 3am."

They deleted that post in minutes.........Jeeeesh, hasn't anyone heard of the healing power of laughter?

I usually catch on --- sooner or later though.
Sometimes I don't, then I realize they're speakin' a different language. Now THAT can be a problem. Especially here in California.

Are you aware that in order to PM it's required that a poster have at least 20 posts before they're allowed to PM? U4EA at this point has fewer than 20, so PM's aren't possible yet.

Yeah, registering for this forum was kind of a spur of the moment kind of thing, today actually. I will "personalize" my profile if I feel like I have an urge to stick around. Like I had said in a previous post, this is my first time posting on *any* forum so I'm just feeling it out at the moment. So far, I've found the posts good reading. A lot of good, knowledgeable people, many actually entertaining/good writers.

Nope, no Swift for me at this time. I've done mainly dump trailer, lowbed, flatbed work for the many construction companies in the area. I have zero OTR experience. I'm too much of a puss for OTR. I like the construction end anyhow.

All I can say is do what you have too. Don't let someone posting here tell you how much this company or that company sucks. Do what you have to and move on from there. Use your starting point as a foundation for everything else.

I agree 10 + pages, who cares at this point.

New to this and was just trying to meet cool people such as AfterShock. Didn't mean to destroy the Swift bashing page. =)

This is why I was skeptical on using these online forums.

Some people get all bent out of shape when God forbid, the topic shifts from an already beat - to - death subject, to some good natured small talk. Oh no, the 10 + page Swift topic suddenly has a *whole 9 posts* of unrelated small talk. Give me a break.

If that's all some of you have to complain about you need to get off of this forum and get out more.

If you want to read stories on the short-comings of Swift Trans., I'm sure you can find a zillion other *strictly business* Swift postings on this site.
