I started out with an 09 Volvo. It was not very roomy but drove nice. They just gave me a nice brand new International Prostar. A LOT more room, so far I like it a lot

had 2 prostars and only time one of them was in the shop was when I found an air leak but since I was under a load they had me done in 8 hours replacing brake chambers.

Found out that my current truck is on the trade in list and they trade them out at either Greer, Memphis, or Phoenix terminals. Trade date is a month from now so im hoping I can do it well before then.

We started in a Volvo 670, that developed some engine problems. We were then transferred to a Freightliner Columbia. After a short time, this too developed an A/C problem. We then received another Columbia that looked like it had shag carpeting from all the pet hair from the previous drivers animals.
We transferred again due to my partners allergies to pet dander, and received another Volvo 670.
After 600 miles in this truck? We turned it in to the shop with a bad exhaust leak, and we're issued yet another Columbia. This tractor turned out to be a great unit. Of all the units we had? My favorite was the Volvos.

My first mentor had a '12 Cascadia. Very comfortable. Had a DD15 in it that was one of the 2012 lemons, and was in the shop five times in the month I was in it. She was a lease op, and turned her truck in. Twelve straight weeks with a negative settlement will do that.
My second mentor had a '11 ProStar, pre-DEF. That sucker could pull, but that was about the only positive thing I can say about the experience. They are *not* designed for large people. The cup holder left a bruise on my right leg that took three weeks to heal.
Got lucky for my solo truck and got a '13 Volvo 670. Even near GVWR, I find myself passing trucks on uphills. Not quite what the ProStar had, but very close. Cummins engine and a 10 speed transmission. I must say that I liked the sleeper of the Cascadia better. If I ever go lease, I'll probably get a Cascadia with a Cummins and a 10 speed.
