Yes, Swift does run into Canada. You will likely need to be based from one of the northern state's terminals, as the hours of service are different there. Sumner is one terminal where many Canadian loads get T-called.

Check with your DM or find who to talk to within your company and ask how you can go about arranging this if at all possible and the paperwork that is involved.

P.S. Make sure that you have your passport.

Yes our hours of service are a little bit different up here but if you run here using your HOS rules that you run under everyday then you will be fine over here as well as being compliant on you side of the border when you go back over. Keep in mind that you will need at least 60 dollars US for tolls on the bridge at Detroit/Windsor. $22.50 max gross weight coming into Canada or going back into US plus $10.75 US for US Customs Fee.

i have my canadian passport since i'm a CDN citizen plus i have a US permanent resident card so that won't be a problem... i'm eligible for US citizenship in 2011, after that it will be easier to cross the border

i hope to get runs in Quebec lol

Cool. Sounds like you have those bases covered. Now see about finding the right person to talk to about putting your plan in motion. Good Luck. FYI: :biggrin_25525: Stay away- I repeat stay away from those little French Girls. It has been rumored for years that they can and will `HURT` you! :biggrin_255::biggrin_25526::biggrin_25523:
