Simple answer, No... Reality answer... No but if you turn down a bunch of loads in a planning area, the planner might not play nice.

That is true, but when you have your DM discuss with the planner why turning them down, then a little different, like when the planner does not even look further into the screens and see that you are O/O, as opposed to a company driver. There are some areas, that no matter what, the planners will not play nice unless you are out of their area or terminal.

That is true. At times, they like to just throw a bunch of crap up on the wall, and see what will stick. There have way too many times that they have thrown at me enough crap, and then all of a sudden, there is that mysterious load that appears, that works for me and with me. At times, you just have to play the game as well as them, especially when dealing with the weekend planners. My DM has even told me that many times a planner will not do their job, like with us L/P's. Will not look at the other screens and actually see, not a company driver, but a L/P, no matter how many times you might refuse a load and the reason, mt miles vs ldd miles.

As a L/P. I have to look out for what is best for me, like, do not send me from one terminal where freight is slow, do another terminal where the freight is worse.

    fr8monkey and scottied67 Thank this.
