No, cannot adjust in the computer. It is proprietary information. You can compensate by getting the odometer adjusted but that is likely to through the the odometer and speedometer way off.
That economy gauge is just a estimate. And since there is no rules governing that estimate, truck and car manufacturers bend that estimate to favor their product. If truck company 'A' claims his truck gets 10mpg and truck owner 'B' says his guage never gets 6mpg, who is going to sell more trucks? Same crap happened with 1/4 mile times in the 60's, speedometers in the 70's, epa mpg figures in the 80's, tachometers in the 90's, and again with the epa mpgs in the 00' . It is a shame to get in a pissing argument over gauge readings with truckers; seems like a lot of hurt feelings over nothing. Especially when so many swear by the gauge and don't know even how to calculate real milage.
For the most part these economy gauges are 10 -20% off in favor of better milage. I have found that from motorcycles to big trucks. Some truckers add another 1-2mpg on top of that to make themselves feel superior. And for the most part most of the big trucks economy has to due with the route and the load not the brand of truck.
So thank you Luse for confirming my own observations.

fr8,do look at the option off buying her and selling her on to a dealer.
If the prices are right, you could net a couple off grand.
Or buying her ,run her another year before selling her and starting a new lease.
Just run the numbers.I find a excel spreatsheet usefull to compare options.
Sometimes you have to think outside the box.fr8monkey Thanks this. -

Any the $4800 has to go to the truck, but any excess tire credit and over mileage will either go toward your new lease, payoff on your truck or down payment on the purchase of a program truck, if you go that route. The bond is with your lease to Swift and will roll to a your next lease.
How much oil? That would be a concern. My current Prostar only uses about a gallon every 15k. My last one was about 9K.
