Injun, have you heard anything new. I asked when I was in Columbus the other day, and not a word.

Haven't heard yet. I haven't been to Phoenix in a while either. Somebody there must know what-uppers. I'll try to find out next time I'm there.

I think that I am going to like that new Mac 33. Not have to bother DM. Get a PM. Sent Mac 33, load it on the card and bam. Need the money for something, send in the Mac 33.

    BigShrek72 and Injun Thank this.

It will make access much easier, but hopefully not too easy. While it is your money, think before you spend it. That maintenance account (I prefer "reserve") is not play money. It is your insurance against breakdowns, consumable maintenance items (like tires) and slow times like I demonstrated at the beginning of this year.

I like being able to check my balance. That will be nice.

Injun, I agree. I already have mine earmarked. Fridge in 2 months, PM's, and truck payment when I have to head to China in Sep for 10 days. Hoping nothing else comes up.

Almost everything in that paragraph is wrong, and just BS.

You have no idea how often the planners get service failures for late loads, or the shipper is faulted because there was not enough time. Safety and legality is placed in the drivers hands, because lets face it driver, we cant drive the truck for you. You are never asked to run illegally, and if you accept a preplan that you cannot legally do, well, that is your fault, why accept a load if you cannot do it, unless you are explicitely told you will not be faulted.

I am not saying Swift is perfect, but you have the idea that the upper eschelon sits around looking for ways to blame drivers, when this is not the case.

Shrek, don't sweat that K/A guy. His writing style remindsme of another former irriitant called Ambivalence, who convinced himself I was a gay man because I am friends with one and admitted on open forum I like men. He made quite a spectacle of himself until I grew weary of him.

I wonder whether this troll is a retread of our good buddy, Ambivalence?

Who knows who he is? Well Mastertech will eventually.

However......he joined today and has made only one post.....this one. And has no info on himself. Yeah, he's surely someone to listen to.

BigShrek.......I'm not happy with trip planners, dms and customer service reps right now.

    *frowns sternly*

I don't care for it when they put wrong information on a preplan, I accept it and get to the the shipper to find out that it wasn't a "window" but an appt. Then I get to sit for 6 hours waiting to be loaded. Now I'll be late to the customer.

Trust me.......this is NOT going down as MY service failure. I'll hunt the customer rep down like a beagle on a bunny trail.

I sure hope it wasn't YOUR acct.
