It probably wasnt one of mine, but... it could have been haha! I am actually not so much a CSR as I am a... well, my title is Customer Service Assurance Coordinator... sounds fancy, mostly I track freight all night and make sure it gets picked up and delivered on time. If you get a red-dot in the middle of the night, its probably me... Send me a PM with the customer, maybe the load number if you have it, I'll look at it. See if I can let you know what happened.
While this new Mac 33 is great, and some things are starting to look up, now just wondering when those of us that have to purchase igh DEF, will be able to start to use our fuel cards to do it.
What is the procedure for acquiring DEF anyways?? I've just been buying it out of pocket and keeping the receipts. Not even sure what I'm supposed to be doing with the receipts except for holding them for tax time lol
Salt Lake City has DEF at the pumps. A few other terminals have it too. It doesn't look like it's metered, so apparently no charge for now. I'm glad I got one that doesn't require it. One less expense.
It is metered and ALOT cheaper at the terms then at the truck stops...I average just over 4,000 miles per tank of def...truck stops charge anywhere from $2.60 (at pump) to $5.50 (bottle) a gallon...term is about $2.43 a gallon...at the terms they charge it to your maintenance account
oh-oh---my world has come to an end--i always thought injun liked men i dont mind girls that like to be on both teams--but not likeing men--please say it isnt true i think the going paperless will have its pro's and cons---the 11 hours will be looked at like a speed limit--it will be"you can drive up to 11 hours a day--not that you have to drive 11 hours a day" but i did talk to a couple heavy hauler o/o this week that were almost in tears when they were told they had to go paperless---said no way in hell could they be profitable any more---i guess it will remain to be seen
my procedure has been to go to the shop and ask about it. they either have it in the quick lane or at the pump. when it's in the quick lane one of the grease monkeys will pump for you. i haven't experienced def at the fuel island yet. i do wish you could use the fuel card to pay at truck stops. i usually try to aim for the next terminal when i get to half a def tank since i don't want to pay out of pocket for it.
Salt Lake has it. I know that PHX does. Columbus is supposed to be getting it. For now, I know that in Columbus, when you need it, you have to go over to the shop and wait in the check line, like for repair, and then they will pump for you. I have heard that they are working on us getting to be able to use our cards. For now, I just use my ATM card, and save the receipt for taxes.
hmmm now you got me confused so you are a male gay trucker with out the plumbing --never removed or installed---guess that would be the proper explantion----maybe?
