I have driven for Swift for a few months. There is not much to complain about that isn't true pretty much everywhere. I am considering becoming a mentor, but I have questions:
1) At $.32-36 CPM shouldn't I be able to make about $750/wk as a solo company driver? If so, I need better runs!
2) What do mentors really make at Swift? How much does it add to your pay? What is a realistic weekly number to shoot for?
Any input would be appreciated.

Is your profile correct? You have less than 1 year total in driving? If so, I'm sorry but you have no business trying to instruct anyone.
Stoney, daddyhusky, mgt1085 and 1 other person Thank this. -
at less then a year i wld hope u wldnt even be considered to be a trainer. u need to get far more experience. what wld u possibly be able to teach a student. sure there might be some things, but u dnt even have the knowledge to be successful yet let alone teach someone else to be! dnt mean to be a dream crusher, but u need a heck of alot more experience. to answer ur ? i hear they can make alot. it depends on ur student i guess
daddyhusky Thanks this. -
I would not train just to make money. I would train to make better drivers out existing ones.
KHBigarmin88 and daddyhusky Thank this. -
I have a few months with Swift; I have time with another company before but I am still green and would never want to be a mentor without at least a year of experience. I'm thinking long-term. Truck school graduates as a trainers is a scary thought!
