Swift NE Regional work

    Talked with a recruiter today about the NE regional work. She said it was a weekends off, pass through during the week at the Taylor,PA yard. I was wondering if there are any drivers out there running it. What kind of miles are you getting, and are you really home every weekend?

    Oh boy, good luck with that. Did it for a while. Yeah, you can get home every weekend. Not sure what company drivers are making, but the miles aren't that great. If you're an O/O, you get percentage to run NE regional. Ended up not being worth the hassle for me. Supposedly the moto for the northeast boards is "Drive less, get paid more!" but that really depends on the driver's capabilities and whether or not you have an obnoxious douche for a dispatcher.

    If being home every weekend is more important to you than anything else, then northeast regional should work out for you.
