It's extremely hard to hit a million mile/diamond status milestone as a dedicated driver on the Walmart/Costco/Target account.
Swift needs to readjust their requirements for these accounts.

Not much different being GLR either.
Better pay but lower miles.
I have stopped even watching the bonus screen, for the most part. Ever since they went to the new system it just isn't there.
It used to be, with the 3 month and simpler schedule, I could buy a new laptop with my bonus. Not anymore. It is hosed.
But I must say, hitting the million mile mark has nothing to do with the bonus or the account you are on.
It is hitting a million miles, pure and simple.
How are they going to adjust that? Say you are a million mile driver when in fact you have not driven a million miles?
It may take a lot longer being dedicated, but that is to be expected. If you want that million miles more quickly you could always go OTR for a little while.CatesCube Thanks this. -
Does Swift handle ther drug tests in house or do they send you to a clinic?
Do they force you to go to Canada? -
here at jurupa terminal they send you up stairs for test.
if you are on the road they send you to nearest clinic.
as far as canada i havent heard that they force you.
dont admit you have a passport if you dont want to goMoosetek13 and silverspur Thank this. -
Force? They really can not force you to do anything.

FWIW I can easily count on 1 hand the number of Swift trucks I've seen up here in the western part of Canada.

Why on earth would it matter if they drug tested you in house or sent you to a clinic?Odd question.

The bonus for dedicated drivers is an absolute joke. I'm not even sure why they even offer it to begin with. They need to give us back the quarterly bonus. I don't know it just seems like a sign of disrespect towards the dedicated drivers. They expect you to work 6 days a week on the Walmart account and that little bonus is the best that they can muster? Before the change I was Platinum maxed out at $1,200 a quarter, but now the bonus is so small that it's not even worth bringing up
When they restructured this bonus, they just threw all of the none OTR drivers under the busMoosetek13 Thanks this. -
Most bonus schemes are designed to never be paid out .
that’s the whole point .
