It's a privacy thing. At Heartland Express, I didn't like having to give my urine to the girl that worked in the mailroom, or the receptionist. These women get hired to do administrative work and then after they start they get pushed to be a waterboy and collect the trucker p!ss and process the samples in the lunchroom, on the counter next to food items/utensils. Very unsanitary. Upper management gets a sick thrill out of it.

If a company has a lot of women drivers, many perverts will vie for the chance to be the company waterboy just to get near some intimate female function, maybe set aside some of the sample on the down low to sip/play with at a later time. Or work in a rude comment to her: " I'm your supervisor,I control your actions in the truck, now I possess your body fluids, my trophy to take home with me while I obsess on you, you belong to me."

Drug testing should be done at a medical office in a professional environment, not by trucking company employees.

    3, actually.
Fontana was separate from Jurupa, but there was the other terminal right next to Jurupa. Different entrance but right next door.
    Mira Loma it was.

Atlanta trucker and dptrucker Thank this.

I stand corrected , yes your right there was 3 there in that area. Fontana was off the 10 and Mira Loma and Jurupa were next to each other.

I did my road test at Fontana. Banana street I think it was.
Middle of rush hour, and the final turn onto Banana was a right turn.
I could not button hook it so I had to wait for no traffic. I waited at least 10 minutes, while holding up the line of traffic behind me, until I had the opening to use both lanes so I would not curb the tandems.
After I was back in the terminal the tester said many drivers failed at that turn because they were too impatient.

Ah... memories. Fontana was my first terminal, my first DM.
I can't remember her name, but I do remember her. Blond, rather cute, and she gave me her advice about home time.
It does not start when you clock off duty.
3 days of home time means 3 full days with no logged time.
Get home an Friday at whatever time. Then Saturday, Sunday, Monday off and come back on Tuesday - at whatever time to suit your desired schedule.

    dptrucker Thanks this.
