LOL Hush you "banker hours" driver. You drivers are already spoiled. Of course that's why I want to get on that gig too.

All joking aside I'm puzzled by the letter. I went solo first week of February. By May I'll be earning the quarterly. I'll also be getting first scheduled raise. I'm assuming the raise is scaled. I'm a literalist too and it's not spelled out.

    Kindle Thanks this.

The truck hit my driveway at 1545 today :p But worry not I did start pretrip at 0415,also in my driveway. Hope you can get on soon. Things do seem to be picking up, started going to Wycheville again (Gatorade plant). One of my least favorite runs but gotta take the bad with the good. And I still want a raise!

Your Honor, in light of the above referenced quote, the prosecution rests and moves for an immediate judgement heretofore said route is legally deemed "banker hours". [emoji85] [emoji86] [emoji87]

Just curious. Why is that your least fav?? It's a beautiful run. Is it cuz those are always heavy? Or just take too long?

Both too heavy and too far. The loads are a pain to scale and in one case last week impossible. I had 35.5k on drives 34080 on tandems. Since there are no VA scales between there and NC I took it anyway. Not a good idea I'll admit but I didn't want to go back to Gatorade. Once I hit NC I was safe, you can go to 38k on any tandems there. The best runs for us are the ones under 50 miles. That way you can get another (hopefully) short run because the container pay is better than the mileage.

    It's actually more like 1.5.

    For me it works.
I got on the program to reduce the taxable income for one reason - to show that I was not making quite as much.
And that was for one reason as well. I pay child support.

In the past couple months my child support requirement was re-assessed.
It would have been much worse if I hadn't been in the program.
Now they will only take an additional 50%.

I'm not trying to pay less to my ex than she needs. I help her whenever she needs it.
But I would like to keep a little for myself now and then, instead of being garnished to death.
