Does anyone know the current OTR pay for someone with 5 years of experience running dry van/reefer? My recruiter doesn't know anything so he's useless. Is it still one number when running the east, a different number for the west, and then extra pay for short hauls? Any clue what one the numbers should be?
-
Yes it is and its a couple cents higher than the sheet on the first post
-
for drivers straight out of school i know its .37 but with five years you should start atleast .40 maybe a little higher, i have 1 1/2 years and im at .43 but i usually average atleast .45 and up since i do costco dedicated and my longest run is 320 miles

@Moosetek13 would at least know what the pay cap is. As well as a few others.
-
the current pay cap is between .54 to .57
-
Base or bonus?
Flatbed Base cap is .54 which can be pushed higher with status bonus. I mean up to .62 in theory.
Granted we dont have a sliding pay scale.
We just get like 75$ instantly for a short haul plus miles.Last edited: Jul 26, 2020
