Thank You Sir and I will need all of that I can get. I'm headed to Roehl Sept 7th for school then (hope) off to Evol.#1... The permit CDL was a breeze but now its time for practical skills to be learned... I'm so excited.. Waiting is killing me....

Looks like I am getting more hometime, mentor had already been out three weeks when he picked me up and really needed to get home. Been getting in decent drive time for my first week out, almost have my 50 hours so we can start teaming. Mentor is good and I am learning alot, his truck is a 2011 prostar eagle and just comming up to it's first B service, rides like a caddy. We had a few late dispatched loads that we took, send the mac22 and run it. So far had trips from jersey to vermont to ny to jersey to penn to ny to ill which we t-called in gary and took a t-call back to penn. Took a load of jars from there headed to michigan for hometime.

Mentor says he might have gotten us a load to reno when we head out on wednesday. Then hopefully a load over donner pass so I can get some mountain practice.

So far everything is going great, the mentor has had me handle the last two trips myself from pre-plan to empty call. He feels like he is not working since he is about to fall asleep in the passenger seat most of the time and almost two days of no driving on his part. He could have had his 34 restart but had to log 15 mins in gary for a wizz quizz. Once we go team we should start running harder. He pushes run 10 off 10 as the best way to make money, and that works for me.

I would have posted more throughout the week but we keep the door closed and run hard enough that I haven't had time to find internet and I find that if we are not running I just want to sleep anyhow.

Back to relaxing, taking care of a few chores and getting ready to run hard when we come back out.

    Be safe all,
    -SgailDreugan

Glad to see you are out there and have what sounds like a good mentor situation. Update when you can, I know it's not always easy to hop on line while you're in training. Don't sweat that for a minute, just learn all you can!

Great update on the runs and locations.

I am in class now, have my permit, and will be going to the parking lot in about one week. I test for my CDL on Wednesday, I'm studying my butt off.

I will go to Swift's orientation in September, then out for 240 hours of mentor running. I am looking forward to it.

    Enjoy home, drive safe.

Hang in there man, glad to hear you got a good mentor. I'm very grateful that I had a good one. We hit it hard too after my 50 hours were up. Good times and memories! Keep us posted when you can!

How is sleeping in the truck going? Is it fairly easy to sleep in there?

I am considering team driving right now myself, sounds like your clocking some good miles doing it.
