Banded pay scale. Supposed to go into effect July 2. Base is still $.92. I ran the numbers on my loads year to date and it would have put an additonal $1K in my pocket.

Company drivers already get extra pay for loaded miles under 300.

How good is your information? If this is true (and I really hope it is) it wil take away most of my misgivings for accepting short mileage loads.

Off of the Swift O/O Facebook page, from one of the drivers that was doing the beta testing. Rates came off of a picture of his QC.

I figure it will be good for $150 to $200 a week based on my current loads. 76% of my loads fall under the higher rates.

supposedly company drivers are going to start getting extra pay based on their ranking, soonish anyway (but soonish could be 5 years) so Ill keep ######## about how platinum does nothing for me until it does come in

I think it should be based on performance and time served - not the ranking.

Too many things can lower your ranking that has nothing to do with your performance.

I was at gold, and now at bronze.
    Why?
Mainly because I had a truck that was in the shop for nearly 25% of the time I had it.

It is a hard hole to pull yourself out of.

But I have no service failures and no longer any accidents counted, and my safety rating has been going up.
But without the average miles, the ranking won't go up - because that is what it is mainly based on.
And this past week won't help one bit, since I was helping out at a dedicated Swift Walmart account here in Florida. Low miles averaging 100-300 per day.

The ranking thing kinda gets me too... I have two really good weeks, followed by a weak week. Im hoving between gold and silver and had two weeks in the last 6 months at platiumnin. (sp?)

I think that I could get used to this new pay scale since alot of my loads are under 500. Have been hearing a rumor for little while, possible kicking in some of the FSC for mt miles. This would help when looking at loads.
