Don't focus too much on CSA score. In fact the worse their company score is the more attractive you'll be assuming you have a clean score. All of the mega carriers are going to have relatively poor scores and flagged for inspections routinely so you'll just have to accept that as a new[er] guy coming back in. Consider terminal location proximity to home would be one of my first recommendations in trying to decide. If you're not near any terminal then you'll have to consider who you THINK operates along your lane the most so they don't give you the excuse "we can't get you home very often because that's not a good area for us"

PTL has APU's on their trucks.

Don't be concerned about PTL's CSA score. They have a deal with some nationwide company that goes to the trailer drops and inspects their trailers and repairs them. The trailers were the problem, so now they are on top of that problem.

I've heard some bad things about ptl. but, then??? you have limited options as you don't have enough otr experience. so go with the that one you can put up with the longest. and one day you will be away from them.

Not sure how the trailers are responsible for speeding, and running red lights ?
