Feom what I've seen on the road the last couple of years, Swift has one of the newest (generally speaking) fleets on the road. All the company trucks I've personally seen have been three years or less in age. Which is, of course, good news for you as an incoming driver.

I am looking forward to joining Swift! They seem to be the best opportunity for a newer driver. I have just enough experience to be able to go solo. I even have a valid two year medical certificate from July of this year so I don't have to undergo another physical. Something tells me that this was meant to be. I'm going to drive to orientation this coming Sunday.

Does Swift have PrePass as well as EZPass?
-
I know they have them, I would be surprised if they gave one to a new driver. But who knows.

Swift is a good company.. After a while you can ask about the Wal-Mart terminal in Pottsville, PA... They have a dedicated account there that pays well. Not sure about the requirements but they were hiring when I was helping out on surge..
As far as the auto vs manual, you just gotta take what you get an run.. Don't matter how you shift...Last edited: Sep 20, 2016
