Swift Training Question

    Greetings Friends,

    Well I will soon be off to Lewiston ID, for training with SWIFT. (insert smart comments here:biggrin_25525:) - I was told by my recruiter that I have to have my state CDL permit before I go there.
    My question is regarding the "medical" - Is the physical that I have to have in order to obtain my CDL permit the same as the DOT physical that I have read much about?

    Will I have to take another physical with SWIFT?

    I went through Swifts physical about 7 years ago, and it was a 2 minute, blood pressure, heart rate, really basic... maybe its changed since then.. Ive been through others that last 30-45 minutes where you must lift, pull and push weights... But you specified SWIFT, you should fly through it. good luck

    In Lewiston your first morning,, go do the pysical testing,, lifting pushiing walking with a heart monitor pulse rate on your wrist, then its off to the dr,s office for the dot medical exam,, yes you will do a new one for swift regardless if you already have one, then its off to the class room at the sure wish i finished training accademy,, good luck,, oh yea Joni in the office is a cutie.. wooohooo

    Not sure, but be prepared for the Lewiston grade.


    I think a physical for Swift involves fogging a mirror.
