Swift trucks are governed at 62 mph. If you were actually able to drive at max speed for 10 hours that's only 620 miles. You might manage that in spring or summer on I-80 through Wyoming. But not on any normal day on the coasts or Midwest.
I did Stratford, TX to Flagstaff (legally, less than 11 hours driving) in a Swift company truck, that's about 620 miles.
In ideal conditions on open road, it's very possible. Out where I am at on the east coast, yeah, not so much ....
Comdata Card OK, sorry, this is pretty simple here. I am going to Swift School May 22, 2017. I am wanting to know exactly what is a Comdata Card and what is it used for? -Credit type of card I assume (I mean a plastic type of card, not an actual "credit card")? -Used to purchase fuel, oil, etc., for your truck? -Do they put your pay on it also? Do I have a choice on that?(I want it all DD). -Type of ID card for the company also? -Any other helpful info would be great. -Thanks -Traffic Jam
Did you work for Western Express? From all the bad at least they don't have driver facing cams, strict rules or bother the driver.
