Swift.......unorganized mess

I drove for Swift for about 3 mos. and what a fustercluck! To begin with, after my 6 week training, the girls in the office "forgot" to put my name down for a truck, consequently I was out of work for almost a month and had to go on unemployment.......once I got out there, the communication among the DM's was horrid, one lady who was a real b*&ch left me sitting for 18 hours at Central Freight in Pico Rivera.....only to have some other Swift driver leave with my trailer!!! It all went downhill from there.....they will not get you home, and if you keep asking they seem to send you further away......after returining to Lathrop, I called the next day and told my DM if I was going to work for them that they need to have me home more......the rule is supposed to be 1 day for every 7, well, when I mentioned that the reply was that "it is not set in stone"-nice attitude......

Unfortunately I could go on but you get the picture.....they do not treat their employess like people.....you are driver code.....that is it........after I quit, my DM said that honestly, they would have kept me out for 1-2 mos. straight......no way.....I have a family......and the "comfort zones" they speak of??? What a joke.......it basically does not exist......my DM basically laughed at me when I mentioned it...........

I can't really recommend this company, they are in serious need of restructuring or something.........they are too big for their own good.....
