It depends on the company and it depends on why you didn't get through orientation. For instance: if a guy just gets disgusted and walks out, it will most likely not be DACed. If that same guy didn't study for his wizz quiz, well, most likely, that will be DACed.
For all new people looking at this: if you have been a regular user of the herb and want to be a driver, get your own independent UA done before you show up at a company office or school. Assuming you are clean after not smoking for a couple of months, especially if you're a larger person, has come around and bitten more than one hopeful in the arse. You can find thread after thread about this on these very boards. Just my word of advice.

Well let me tell you this I went with werner fresh out of school in october and it was a big mistake. My friend and I got through orientation then waited and waited in the hotel and it wasnt that part that was the worst it was the fact that they never communicated with us about trainers they didnt have any yet and the "meetings" in the hotel we were suppose to have every morning never happened and they never told the motel they werent coming. I just got fed up with it and had to leave this was all at the Fontana Terminal which I guess is actually not a good one to go to right now but maybe this will help you in your decision.
I am going with Watkins and Shepard trucking on the 29th because i havent heard one bad thing about them and their training is shorter plus all i've heard is that all the employees are nice and friendly so maybe give them a call and see. Good luckTexas-Nana Thanks this. -
Just out of curiosity, how much experience do you need with Swift to become a trainer? I work for CRengland, and you can become a phase II trainer as soon as you get off your Phase II trainer/instructors truck. Kind of the blind leading the blind but the money is there, well kind of (not really). You can be a phase I trainer/instructor with 6 months experience OTR.
Just kind of curious how the two companies compare? -
I wouldnt listen to most of these responses because Im sure they have never driven for either one of those companies. They just heard from somebody who heard from somebody that they are bad. About 90% of the people who bad mouth companies have never driven for them. Your best bet is to talk to drivers who currently work for one of these companies.
FZ37 Thanks this. -
Werner wants everyone to be a driver/trainer because it's cheaper to have a student-trainer combo than to run teams. Dead serious. They offered to make me a driver/trainer 3 months after I became a qualified driver. I don't know anything about Swift, but Werner training is ####...

I myself picked May, a good company, and I have a very good and experienced trainer, just what I need. I would look around a little more if I were you, but if given the choice between those 2, I would pick Swift.
