He took a leave of absence. The truck broke down 500 mi down the road and had to go into the shop for 3 days. I hadn't used the ac till a couple days ago and it semi works going down the road but parked it blows hot. There's wires sticking out where the reading light should be, and the windshield washer on drivers side didn't work but I fixed it. This trucks been a nightmare and there's no way he didn't notice. That's why mrh is getting to me, his attitude sucks. With it being holiday weekend it's hard to get anything done. After I unload Tom am I'm gonna talk to onroad and I'm sure it'll get taken care of.

With it being a flatbed truck, it's not as easy to get a dif one, but I had my old truck for 9 mos with no problems and while getting a b service done it needed a new wiring harness so they gave me this one. I shudder to think what I might get next. This trucks finally running great apart from the ac. If I can that fixed I'm golden.

Seems like they have me sitting every other day, running short. I could have gotten it fixed, I might have had time. I sat at a few terminals for a day or so, but I wasnt getting the miles I want/need so, I didn't want to take the chance of being in the shop when they'd send me a preplan. Wanted to be ready to roll whenever they said so. No accelerator problems so far.

Mrh, I'm in the same boat. Been sitting since Friday. I knew miles would be light at the beginning but this is ridiculous.
My AC went on me and I figured I'd get it fixed when I went home. Then the truck broke down due to electrical and engine issues so I figured I'd get the AC fixed while I was already down. I ended up sitting for 5 days. I found out later that the motor and electrical problems were fixed in two days, it took 5 days for them to get the parts and fix the AC. The moral of my story is...dang it can take a long time to get the AC fixed. -
Moosetek I totally agree its a way to get more drivers to lease swift will do anything to make more money off us. Now don't be fooled by that mac30 I can tell you it don't always have loads up there. I been sitting here over 6 hrs sending mac 30 and cannot get a load. I am still trying to figure out how the mac30 work because I think someone assigning the loads that it send to your truck (when it send u loads) the reason I say that is why it never send a load goijng to my home area? Why would it send 3 loads all the same information?
