Swift's getting Petes now?

Swift was included in a test program from International that involved the Lonestar. There were 2 of them and International was testing something with the engines. A Celedon driver I met in Houston was telling me about it (Celedon was in on the test as well), lots of shop time involved but the price was right for the trucks...a dollar a year lease while the testing was going on.

 

Anyone know if they will be getting new Prostars?

 

The 386 that Swift has is indeed a company truck, just one in the fleet. They bought that truck back in 2010. I dont think they bought anymore since then, probably was a test truck.

It is hard to say what Jerry will do in the future. I remember back some years ago that he was not going to get any more Volvo's and look now

I've seen a few Swift Volvos with the DD13... is that the norm for them now? I remember they used to have the ISX.
