Swifts new Idle policy

Is it true Swift is only hiring team drivers out of FL?

i know that is USX's policy (lease or team)
with swifty it MAY depend on how close you are to 75-95

 

I was told by Swift in May that were hiring in my area but the recruiter did not say solo or teaming. Theres macho who is solo and from my area as well a associates son. Im going call the recruiter tomorrow and find out.

Yes, a month. Actually a bit more than that. I've been in the truck for a total of 10 weeks now. Weeks that happened to be in May, June and part of July. Not exactly a cool time of year. I've been mostly in the southeast with some midwest loads thrown in. It has been incredibly hot and muggy in some places, yet I've managed to deal with it just fine using the aforementioned methods.

Truck stops do have TV rooms with AC ya know. They also don't charge anything to sit in them. The other tips I gave will get you the rest of the way. Perhaps some better trip planning to include truck stops on your route would do you good.

 

So this should be easy for you. What's the problem?

 

Swift is hiring solo in florida.

USX is not taking anyone that is a newbie. Only people with 6 months can drive and if you live in FL you team. Spoke to a recruiter that verified that today.
