A kingpin lock would be helpful, but I would go ahead and drop w/o it if it was me. Easter weekend is a good time to be home.
-
I believe they won't care, as long as you get the load there on-time, and stay on truck routes.
-
Unless something has changed, trailer must stayed hooked to the truck or they will get very very upset about it. Take the truck to the nearest T/S and park it up, then have someone come et you. Of course then you run the risk of them trying to contact you on the QC and give you a load etc.
darthanubis, Dominick253 and FullMetalJacket Thank this. -
@BostonTanker is stranded out here too. I agree with @pattyj . And yeah, make sure on the kingpin man!!
pattyj Thanks this. -

This is the right answer , if prime finds out you dropped that trailer any where but an approved location it's your ### , even with a kingpin lock , have someone come pick you up or take the trailer with you , no need to worry about getting the dispatch as long as you have the prime mobile app you will get it that waydarthanubis, redoctober83, FullMetalJacket and 2 others Thank this.

You people that don't work for Prime and have no clue are going to get this person fired. Good job.
darthanubis, BigSky, FullMetalJacket and 1 other person Thank this. -
and how is that?Prime is not any different then any other starter company. They all basically have the same policies.I'm pretty sure the op knows to ask his dispatcher before just up and doing anything that was mentioned in this thread.

He's still on his first dispatch with them.......they move so slowly. They won't even notice.
