i have a Dosy tc3001-p Swr meter here , it has 3 - 2 1/2" meters on it with lights , this unit comes with a power adaptor that plugs into the wall and the other end
looks like a mono headphone jack (male) it unscrewes and there are the 2 wires + and - that are soldered onto the tip.
i would love to run the meter lights off of my Pyramid regulated power supply bu i dont want to fry my meter lights by sending to much power to them.
the power adaptor for the dosy meter , shows the following
AC Adaptor
Model: DV-1230
input: 120 VAc 60 Hz 23W
Output: 12vdc 300 mah
class 2 transformer
Pyramid Regulated DC Power Supply

-Input Rating

-
Output Current: 10 Amp constant / 12 amp surge
Output Ripple: 150 mV RMS

(note: input at 115vac and output at 10 amp)
i can just unscrew the tip of the swr meter cable and solder a new cable on it to go on my power regulator , but i thnk i would need some resistors , anyone able to hel me out as to exactlly what ones i would need to add ?
would really appreciate it , thank you
Mike
so i hookedup meter lights direct to my regulator and boom all 100 %
