Hey Guys, i will be going with sygma for orientation coming up in a week and wanted to know if they have hotels for new drivers (Class is a week long). and training is 4 days a week not sure if i will sleep in the truck or hotel?
sorry one last thing, once i get my own truck, can i sleep in a hotel daily? because the driving distance from my house to sygma is far and my car sucks.

When I went to Danville, IL for orientation I was given a hotel for the week. Don’t know what position your going for but for me it was local and went home every night.

thanks for replying, do you know, did they shuttle you in a van? or did you have to drive yourself from hotel to orientation?. im going for the driver local position, but they showed me a map saying we go as far as kentucky and new york.

I did local and only drove about 80 miles out and back while I was there. Was supposed to get shuttled for orientation but had a minor mishap and had to drive myself unfortunately. If it’s a terminal close you should be able to bum a ride off of a driver heading to the terminal your going to. Be persistent in asking if you want that free ride.

Uhhhh you can’t drive 40 miles and you want to drive a truck?

Edit my bad, didn’t see you had car issues. Can you take the truck home once you’re working? How will you get to work?

You might have to pony up for the hotel , find out which one it is from there drivers not recruiting you will be under the microscope now watch your step , rent a cheap car if you have to , Sigma is a pretty good outfit dont risk it with the small stuff and get a car that runs so your not late to the yard , even if its a pay as your earn deal.
