Synthetic oil is hard to find...

I was just in Blain's Farm& Fleet Saturday they had Rotella synthetic 15 -40 in 5 gallon buckets.. I never looked at the price though

 

I used to feel the same way but over the past couple decades it's become near impossible to NOT buy things made in China or owned by Chinese companies. Communists own this country and they even have control of our healing medications like antibiotics.

 

Yup, why spend the day driving around wasting time & fuel, just to not find what you're looking for anyway. Much easier, and usually cheaper, to just order online and have the little brown or white truck drop it off..

 

Exactly. I buy all my filters in bulk about once a year and order my oil wherever it's cheapest at least one PM in advance. Lately, I've been getting oil from TSC for less than $50/5 gallon pail. Delvac was on sale last time so I bought 4 pails but I usually get their Traveler's brand for regular price of around $48/pail.

 

I research prices on the internet. I order some on the internet if I can't buy it local. Usually I buy from a site I can pick up locally. Nothing like a brick and mortar store that hires local. If all is bought and shipped on the internet. Sooner or later the local stores won't be able to keep the doors open.
