Tell me about your socks, underwear and tee shirts? How about your jeans, boots and car parts? Do you take antibiotics? I have news for you my friend, the enemy is your very own government. Are you aware that China is a world super power because we fund them? They exist because of the USSA. Are you aware that China is Communist today because the USSA stopped Japan from stopping the Red invasion of China? Even simple things like cotton/textiles are sourced from our Red friends across the sea. Even if certain products are made by US companies, odds are the materials are sourced from China. That's the dirty little secret they hide from us. Even it's made in the US, the materials are still sourced from our "enemies". We support them all the way. I struggle to buy everything I can locally but it's nearly impossible to get everything I need that's 100 percentage made in the US AND with 100 percent US materials.
Socks are from South Carolina. I dont wear underpants or jeans. My kilts is made in Scotland by hand. My tee-shirts are American made, as are my shoes. I don't take antibiotics, or any meds. My semi parts seem to be mostly American made. I am at 97%, mostly because my kid demands brands of toys that are not Made in America. I am however glad to say that the enemy of our enemy is our friend. The amount of foreign made products I buy are from other asian countries. I have no issues with my products being made in taiwan or indonesia.
Ten4, my friend. Assembly is only half the battle though. Research where the materials come from and you'll see how they lie to you and play games. I've seen so many times over the years. "proudly made in the US", "assembled in America", "US based corporation" etc etc. Looks good at first until you scratch the surface and learn it's all marketing. Much like the lib crowd that think they're helping the environment by buying an electric powered car. The car itself might run by battery but burning fossil fuels are required to charge the battery or mine the materials to build it.
I got my oil changed yesterday in Weatherford, TX and the only brand they had enough synthetic oil in was delo. The guy that changed my oil had just gotten back from a road call where a guy was broke down due to a water pump on a 2018 Cascadia (dd15), he said that water pump is on six week backorder. Guess they'll tow him off the interstate before that comes in...
