Wonder if the right guy could weld that up and then grind smooth. Maybe tig weld. Not sure, but would do some looking around for an old school craftsman, who are in short supply nowadays.

No where is the contract between you and the insurance carrier does it say we will pay for actions of others, except as specified (2 & 5).
While irresponsible on behalf of Sysco's employees, I can't see where the insurance carrier should cover the loss.
Your only resolution is to have YOUR attorney present them with a claim. Sysco's General Liability policy will cover the acts of their employees.slow.rider, Snailexpress and jbatmick Thank this. -
Sysco didn't unload your trailer. Probably Capstone or any other lumper company.
Sysco will deny any claims because they didn't do unload, Capstone will deny because you was in Sysco.slow.rider and gentleroger Thank this. -
I had a problem with a receiver that denied responsibility for their employees tearing up the inside of my new reefer too. I eventually got the compensation due - but that's another story.
To prevent this from happening again or my not having rock solid proof I installed 4 cameras that record everything. There are nice bright LED lights recessed into the roof. There is a big sign on both the left and right that state - You are being recorded by a CCTV system.
Total cost was a little over $5000 for equipment and install. The cameras come from Falcon Electronics. It gives me the ability to see and record what is going on in the dock and warehouse. I think it has been a worthwhile investment.slow.rider, drvrtech77, Speed_Drums and 2 others Thank this. -
