System adventures with the ducky

I LOVE that run! although I only got to do load to unload once...It's usually handed to me from someone in High Point! Last time I did it, Scott said(1100) driver was in Greensboro...then went to lunch. Sitting there waiting, started bsing with a guy for about an hour....then go in to see scott and had paperwork for me...turns out the driver I was talking to was the one I was waiting on.....so much for an hour wasted! grrrrrr

 

Once I have enough experience I’d love to work for Superior. Problem is the distance to my house to their nearest yard is 99 miles.

there was a guy that used to work here that lived near Providence, RI and worked out of the Springfield, MA terminal. I also know 1 guy out of my terminal that drives about 2 hours to AND from home to get to ours. Most of those guys go out for 3-4 weeks and take 4 days off. Makes sense to me.
