Pedrick Town terminal is about 80-90 miles from Linden. If it were me I would park there and leave about 5 AM giving myself 3 hours to get there. More than likely you will be tank washed to Keasbey which is only a few miles away and will be sitting there overnight anyway so the extra hours used in the morning won't matter. Pedricktown is much quieter and less stressful than than Keasbey. I have parked at the travel plazas on the turnpike for 10 hour breaks before but would never trip plan on finding a space in them. The tank washes are more of a sure thing.

If you go to Pedricktown the old mans bridge on 130 is being rebuilt so you have to detour to exit 7 on 295 and go through town. It's not more than 5 minute detour. There is also a Pilot (small) and a Flying J (medium) at exit 2 on 295.
If I was doing that run I'd trip plan my Tuesday stopping point for Pedricktown.

How do you get to the Keasbey tank wash? I went there before but it was like 3.5 years ago. And from what I remember it was a pain to find or get to. Is there an easy way to get to it?

I am hoping they will just tank wash me back at Pedricktown.

its Pretty easy imho, just don't look at the google map of it lol.
the address is 155 smith st, KEASBEY, nj (dont let it think its perth amboy which is right next to it)
It may have you route down the garden state (exit 11) which is OK for that little section (as in legal and a truck route, follow the signs) but it's better to go down to exit 10 on the njtpk.

Exit 10, follow sign to 440, take exit for smith st. Follow smith st till you get under the big bridge and look for the sign. The entrance is literally between the columns of the bridge.

Thanks for the directions ncdriver. Found it ok. Wound up getting stuck there until noon on Friday. Those tank wash guys are sorry as all get out.

My clean trailer was suppose to be ready by 5am Friday. I was going to go down to the shipper in Maryland to get loaded early and get parked because of that storm coming.

Well that plan did not happen. Wound up getting stuck down at the petro in bordentown for two days.

Getting loaded right now as I speak but whatever they are putting on here must be frozen because its taking forever.

So I finally got loaded in Maryland last week. Took them 3.5 hours. Some kind of problem with the pump. Took that load all the way out to Ft. Worth TX. Nice little 1440 mile run. From there they tank washed me to Pasadena.

Pasadena had a load for me by the time I got there to tank wash. Pick up in Kenedy TX which was 215 miles southwest of Houston. It was a beautiful ride once I got out of Houston. 4 land US highway pretty much all the way except for the last 30 miles. Got down to Kenedy to get loaded and the outside temp was already approaching 70*. I was like heck yeay! I did not want to leave.

By the time I got loaded and headed back it was up to 73-74* which was pretty much the high temp for the day but I would take that all year long! That load was coming back to Georgia for a Monday delivery on 2/1.
I wanted to stay out the rest of this week but I was kind of wore out and my truck needed some work anyway so got that load delivered on Monday then dropped my truck off at the shop. Got a loaner truck and came on to the house yesterday. Probably just work local this week if they have anything for me. If not I will just enjoy the time off.

Well everything has been robbed off this old Eagle and I was not going to transfer all my fittings and hoses because it is too much trouble. So whatever they give me to do will pretty much have to be local moving trailers or it would be nice to do a Dow run just for old times sake.

We wash all our tankers at the Express in Morrow now since Quala in Conley kept screwing the pooch. I'll have to keep an eye out for ya, Lord knows I spend enough time sitting around that place.
