Howdy folks. Was hoping there might be some people on here that drive for systemtrans in the northwest. Would like to get the inside scoop. I applied for their regional northwest position but i like to have an inside scoop before i talk to anyone... How are you treated? whats the home time for regional. They say pay starts at .48 but after tarp, load, wait etc it comes out around .58. Does this seem accurate. What about taking trucks home. They say hiring around Seattle and surrounding area but the nearest terminal is a few hours away. Anyone with knowledge of this outfit, gimme some words.. Thanks!

If your talking about system transport Your treated good atleast that's how I feel I have nothing bad to say.. The pay doesn't seem right for NW but again I'm not 100% sure about NW. But The main yard is in Cheney most of the NW guys that I have spoken too are home very often and just park at the yard.
Do you have a passport?
If you do a search you'll find most of the info it's not much but it's thereLast edited: Aug 30, 2015

For sure. By the sounds of it they hire recent CDL A graduates or those with minimal experience. Says they reimburse cdl school. So that's great for someone like me. I'll get the details tommorow from a recruiter.

That isn't starting pay for NW regional... maybe for heavy haul.
All pay at System now works on a sliding scale depending on dispatched miles for a given run.
For NW regional, pay starts at .39 per mile for anything over 800 miles. -
After a 3 day orientation you get $300. Than you are put on a truck with a trainer up to 8 or 12 weeks. Durring this period you get $500 a week. Once you are on your own you are an aprentice, you will get .31 a mile and after six months it goes up to .33. After one full year you will make .345 a mile.I didn't revive a sliding pay scale for new drivers. But I assume under 800 would be .345.
Also tuition reimbursement is possible after 90 days. At 150 a month. If you quit before one year you have to pay that back. -
Pay scale actually starts at 36.5 after your training period. Training period only last about 5 weeks now. Last year they bumped everything up by quite a bit.
Sneakerfix Thanks this. -
