I drove a T-600 today for the 1st time,,, and well i fell in love,,, it was like a new truck, all tight, and a nice ride over rr tracks was very noticable didnt have the sloppy feel of the 900s ive driven over the years and this truck has 807 thousand miles on it, i was blown away!!!! And it turned so tight im afraid of rear ending my own trailer!!!!
Now here is my problem my buddy and ex boss say they are to light for oilfield support and pulling single and dbl belly dumps in road construction.
Also my buddy says they tend to have over heating problems and break down more often?

Yes they do have issues with heating... You will find yourself driving with the window down or just being cold.. Very hard to keep the temp comfortable...
Break down more? I would say this is false.. who drives it usually has a lot to do with repairs if you know what I mean...
I had a hard time fitting all the things I like to carry in my truck into a T600... (Just had a hard time find places I liked to put things really but would all fit)..
A little bit of a pain walking in between the seats sometimes.....
Dang zipper on curtain was broke on mine and always took extra effort to get it zipped lol
You like how the T600 drives then you would love the T660.. If I ever buy a truck again it will be a T660 for me.... -
I'm a fan of the T6. Fitting between the seats of a KW and a Pete can be challenging if you are a big boy.
I didn't have overheating problems with mine, and for that price it seems like a good deal. -
LOL I miss read... He said "overheating" I am half
Anyways as you probably can tell I was referring to the cab heater being difficult to get correct..
I as well had no issues overheating and pulled heavy heavy loads out of cali using I70,I40,I80 and never had a issue of overheating... always kept it to the floor and let it pull.... -
Every truck I've driven you are always jacking with the heat controls. I wish they would put climate control in a truck.
-
Although the last columbia I drove I had the cooling system (engine) pressurized and found 3 separate leaks (very small but they was there, took a while to find all 3) after that the truck had great heating and cooling and was very comfortable.. -

You sayin you is a big boy???
I'm about 200 myself. -
I was big even before I was fat, now I'm both!!
I'm 6'2' and about 3 feet across the shoulders
that's bigger than the hole in the 359 sleeper -
Time to break out the zazall and make the opening bigger.
