T/A Breezewood

Was there on Thanksgiving day.

 

ta brreezzewood pa. was there about a month ago. no commercial company that I saw but wasn't looking. it is a nice truck stop. has a radio shack upstairs that makes it somewhat unique in the truck stop world. bought a wireless keyboard and mouse there. not the best i've ever been too. plenty of parking.

 

I hate the place. Gives me a creepy feeling. I guess it's because of the way it's setup and location. Haven't been up there in a while and would prefer to avoid it. Last time I was up that way was last winter and it was snowing it's arse off! I'll stay down heeer were we don't get that white ####!

 

Breezewood T/A is a tourist trap. I have never been impressed with the food in the restaurant. It is a nice clean place though...

 

lol, the food is pretty good, the setup is not bad, it isn't creepy. I guess we all don't live in million dollar houses or eat at five star restaurants.



I wonder exactly what some of you are used to in your regular life.

a parking spot, hot coffee, and something to eat that doesn't bite me back and I am good to go.

 

I like the place if only because it goes back to the early - mid 80's when I began running 48 and it has a degree of sentimental value for me and it's been well updated and maintained. When it's snowing like crazy there, it's a sight to behold if you get in early enough to get a spot, then can manage to get out in the morning.
