I remember when every driver of every car had one hand on their crotch, now they have one hand on their phone.

I'm right opposite. I will take them any day over a Pilot or Loves. Large parking lots, sit down restaurant, clean showers. Loves showers suck, (usually not very clean) food choice is Subway, parking lots are tiny, (rookies backing into each other) each new one they build is smaller and smaller. Pilot not much better. Petro is my favorite...

I did that yesterday with my EFS at the TA so I can shower both days of my 34 hour restart... Didn't have any issues. Swipe the card fueled 60 gallons. Shut pump off waited for it to clear, reswiped and toped off with 75 or so gallons... Got my two showers... Could depend on if your company allows 2 transactions in a day that may prohibit certain drivers from being able to do that?

My company is extremely liberal with comdata, only requiring truck number, but it still shuts off for two hours after each use. I don't know if it's a standard option, but I only had an option early on when I got $50 instead of 50 gallons for a shower. >_<

That sucks, i've managed to accidentally hit the lever right after starting the pump, shutting it off and closing out the transaction with less than a gallon pumped.

EFS has issues, and customer service is not good at certain times. I had to fuel after loading on live haul, and started going to majors because of less issues, not no issues. We were supposed to travel at least 100 miles before adding more fuel is what I remember.

Probably to keep someone from raising money by selling fuel. I have fueled twice in a day several times since then.

I'm regional, home often, so I don't have to play roulette with the showers all that often. Usually works out fine, but I have no reason to pile them up, as most go unused. The shower programs no longer interest me that much.

Last one I used at a truckstop was months ago.

In old days, they were bathing in a creek, I heard. I was just curious, how long can you last without a shower. I was able to go without for 7 full days at one trip (UGHHHHHHH!!!) but it was winter as hell and I had this cold/flue/small fever symptoms for the whole time.
