Hey driver if you do the questionnaire on the ticket. On your next visit all you have to do is buy a drink. Then you will get free chicken.

Don't tell anyone I told you this. Popeyes will start to loose profit if they give truckers free chicken. Then stocks will go down and they will become Churches chicken.

$300 for an oil change with grease and filters is a bargain. The only one that will do it for less is YOU! TA does it at a loss so they can find other things wrong and ding you on those.

They raised the price of the filters at T/A because T/A isn't getting their discount like they used to from their distributor.

Fleetguard raised retail prices but not a lot, not by $40, I just got four cases of filters at the yard for $4 more per case.

At a loss, I doubt it costs them 150 for oil and such and another 50 for labor.

$300 is not a bargain, and t/a isnt doing it at a loss. It might be the current going price, but $300 is not a bargain. If I buy the oil at Wal-Mart, and the grease and filters at Napa. I can do a pm and make a profit at $300. Now with that in mind don' forget. Ta buys thier oil, filters, and grease in bulk. So thier price per unit is less than half. The cheapest price you or I could find.

I figure cost to so it yourself, if you pay yourself 25 an hour for 2 hours would be about 200 bucks, ain't no way it's costing T/A that much.

True but TA is paying labor and cost of employees (techs and service writers), ie SS, Medicare, unemployment insurance. Rent and utilities on the building, general liability insurance, and they they are obviously gonna make a profit.... Is boss shop, goodyear, speedco or loves any cheaper? I think not. The market shall determine the price...it's called capitalism.

So, why shouldn't TA make a profit.... They are a for profit business!!! Are you saying they are making too much profit? Maybe you are making too much profit as a truck driver....
