Well here's my fun filled day at the shop here.
Go in and ask about getting some wiring fixed and dot insp on the trl.
That was at 9:30 this morning.. Ok pull it over the pit as I have a lowboy trl.

I tell the tech. where the wiring issue is. Ok no problem. Well then he tells me I need to stretch the trl. s he thinks it's in one of jcts. there.
Well after 5 hours he then tells me to pull into the other bay for the insp. and replacing the wheel seal that is leaking. I did not catch that.
Well here it is 9:30 at night and he's still trying to do the wheel seal. I told the shop service writer.
i'm dropping the trl. and will see you in the morning when I wake up..

Pulled the king pin and have it with me. almost 11 hours and they still are screwing with it....

Well I got the trl. out of the shop this morning.
Said they got it done about mid night.
    I was sleeping then.
they had to go get a wheel seal. No charge for that as they were out of stock.
They put on a new brake drum. I'm like huh? Well it had oil on the drum, well you should of cleaned the other drum as they were all replaced in July this year.. Company is fighting them on that now..
Wheel seal job was flat rate, so the "tech" kinda ate that one for being slow.
The wiring, they put in 8 hours. I questioned that as there were times he was just standing around.
Yes I know wiring can be easy or a pain.. been there done that.

Yep, seeing how trail king is what I call a plug and play system.. I could of had the company order a new harness and had it shipped and had them install it, instead of him cutting and splicing wires. This will cause more headaches later.
I asked our road service dept. about this today.
They said this trl. has had much wiring issues. I hinted at a new harness while I'm off on home time in Dec.
They are thinking about that now.
