NO! R Place is still at the TA and they aren't going anywhere... That in my opinion is the best truck stop restaurant in the US hands down... They get more locals that eat in there then drivers, that's how you know they are good... Any other TA you go in almost has NO locals that's how you know they are terrible... R Place is the only TA I eat at... Ive heard TA bought the Lee High travel plaza in Virginia but I don't run east anymore but they used to have a pretty good place to eat there.

 

it isn't a TA but the restaurant at Truckworld in Hubbard Ohio
is pretty good

 

Agree... I like the bar they have at that TS also

 

R Place is still the same. T/A just kinda took over the fuel and shop.
The bakery and restaraunt is still the same owners

 

Pre TA, you weren't putting your life at risk by walking across the parking lot. The amount of 3 week wonders speeding through the lot is crazy these days.

 

Sorry didn't mean to confuse the restaurant name with the truck stop. The restaurant is still there, under the same management as always has been. From what I understand the couple sold the property, shop, store but wife insisted that she still keep the restaurant. I'm so happy she did

 

joseph, you think pilots are great and t/a are junk. makes no sense something had to happen to traumatize you in this manner. did someone close to you run away with a t/a manger or som?ething

 

Easy fix to eating out... Ask what do they have on the menu. Just because its on the menu doesn't mean its available.

 

What interstate and mile marker is R Place on ? Got us wanting to go there
