Awesome! Now we can get mediocre over priced crap from chain stores- that were never necessary in the first place. Don't forget to take advantage of the extra attitude available from your teenaged waitress/waiter; it's free!

More seriously, avoid T/A's like the plauge.

It was directed toward the gentleman above you asking for the coffee shop.

I hate TA. And I love Caribou Coffee. The restaurants at any TA or Petro anymore are subpar at best. Most are filthy. The help is not helpful. I've called TA and told them I will never stop at another TA unless its to use the bathroom. And even then I walk out regretting it because the bathrooms are generally disgusting. The only TA/Petro that's worth stopping at is in Albert Lea, MN. The Trails End. TA hasn't smeared it's corporate feces all over it yet. It's only branded for fuel. Sorry kids. Pilot is winning the war here. You may not like the business model, but they are primarily pretty decent with a few exceptions, the quick serve and Denny's are generally open 24 hours. And I've never had a great meal at Denny's. but I certainly never had a bad one. I can't say the same for Country Pride or Iron Skillet, and I'm sad to say that because of the chains, Iron Skillet was the best.

The t/a on I-65, south of Franklin, Tn, is one of the cleanest restaurants I've seen. The food has always been good. The waitresses have always been polite. Maybe their the exception.

I still say, you want to fuel and go... pick Petro/TA you like to jack around waiting for fuel, or try finding a spot to park spend all the time you have looking at Pilot.... F/J not so bad. <---least they had trucks in mind

R Place is gone? I know they "remodeled" the TA but when I left OTR last year it was still there. About the only place I would actually go into and eat. Most of the time I just made food in the truck.
