I had T-Mobile for about 5yrs.I didn't have a data plan I didn't really meed one during this time period. Their coverage does suck even in many large city areas a massive amount of dropped calls. T-Mobile os only good if don't travel much. When the time came that I needed a good data plan I switched to Verizon. Yes its expensive but I have great coverage and even when im in a 3g area internet is still better than that truck stop bs. My only regret is I didn't switch sooner. At T-Mobile I had unlimited voice 54.69 with taxes. Verizon unlimited voice 10 gigs 126.27. Luckily I signed up when they still double ur gig promo.I usually use most of those gigs I watch alot of movies an tv on line. I luv being able to tether up anywhere now an get on line

I have had T-Mobile for about 6 years. I've had no issues with coverage, with the exception of Montana, Wyoming and Idaho. I travel back and forth from Colorado to Minnesota frequently and have never had an issue. Verizon will empty your wallet pretty fast if you use wi-fi. As an example...I pay about 80$ a month for unlimited data/minutes; with Verizon I was paying around 125$ a month and did not get unlimited data.
