T800 Heating Problem

    I have a 2006 T800 with an accert C-15 550. I have replaced the thermostat, water pump, put in a new 5 core radiator and cleaned the condenser and the air to air. It still heats to the point of shut down on a hard pull if you let it. We pull 105,500# with doubles, but we are in the Northwest. Any ideas would be appreciated.

    what temp thermostats were installed? the 5 core can slow down the air flow by the time it gets to the 5th row the air is to hot to do any good. a 4 row would of done you better. how many tubes per row and how many fins per square inch in the radiator! are you turning the fan on before you start up a hill or letting it come on by itself? an a-cert is a warm blooded engine to begin with.

    I am assuming a 190 degree thermostat since Cat says that is all they have, but it was done on the road and I'll check. It didn't seem to help or hurt. The engine has about 700K. I have put 3) 5 row rads in so far and love them, but the others were all in W900L's. Thanks

    180's would be better. cat does sell them. someone posted the part#s in the garage section a while back.
