Most TA,s I have seen they have a amount they want you to spend to get free parking, so save up your money for them for the junk they sell, oops stuff, some works.

Just wondering is reserving a spot about the same as the fee for parking if you do not spend the required amount?

The reserved spots I've seen range from $13-18

When I first started in 2006 it was easy to find a parking spot at 9 or 10 at night.
Now for some reason everyone quits early

TA is going to charge for all parking?
Just shows once again that they favour the mega trucking companies.

As an owner operator(not lease purchase) I will drive by TA and buy fuel somewhere else if I need to park

    DSK333 Thanks this.

I have heard that .04.07 cents per gallon for years. I call B.S.
1st) the places that have cost plus. The plus is more than .04-.07
    2) where price is just discounted. I have seen discounts from .12 - .22 - .40 - .60 per gallon depending on company at the same place.
    3) some drivers use thier c.c or, just don't get a discount.
So explain that .05- .07 to me again. if 4 different drivers pay 4 different prices at the same place.

I bet all the mega carriers will partner with them to get benefits so they next time I pull in as a independent owner operator a werner driver will take my spot because they are all buddied up with the mega carriers.

My grandparents owned a store, they had Marathon pumps out front, .03 a gallon was what they made. And I know folks that own stations today, about the same. They make the money on the store sales, not the fuel sales. I would say that is still the norm everywhere.
