TA Chicago North (russell IL)?

    Can anyone give me any information about this TA? I am making a delivery some what late Monday evening and will likely need to find a place to park on the north side of Chicago (waukegan). Im not too familiar with that side of town, and usually when I am in Chicago I am in and out during the day, or stop at the TA in Gary IN.

    Just curious is that TA in Russell IL fills up fast at night or if I could find a parking spot there around 10-midnight if I need to.

    The Russell TA is just far enough from Chicago that parking shouldn't be an issue....they also have a decent size parking area too.

    Thanks for the info guys I appreciate it.

    As far as being willing to park in Gary, I just wanted to make sure that it actually has parking available. I'm not one of these guys that will park in the exit or in the way if there isn't space

    The place is HUGE and I have been able to drop my trailer there in the past so I could go visit a friend. Just had to let the fuel desk know I was dropping.

    Being a holiday mon. you could try the Lake forest oasis first, shouldn't be packed if nothing there the TA on russell rd always has room

    I appreciate all of the information provided. I was actually preplanned a few hours before my delivery to go to Decatur IL for my backhaul so I did not end up going to Russell after all. I will keep this information in mind for the future though.
