my only problem with TA, and this also goes for Flying J, is their policy towards those of us who use credit cards instead of Comcheck, Comdata, or Corp. Account to pay for fuel. I'm tired of leaving my credit card at the fuel desk and I'm also tired of having to give you a rough idea of how much fuel I need.
I work for a small fleet, we have one corp. account with Sapp Bros. and that's only because we buy our fuel from them for our tank in our yard, hence we have a corp. account and I can fuel at any Sapp's without issue. But, they are not always available, so I stop at Flying J or TA when needed. The TA in Alb. has three times in 11 yrs lost my credit card, Flying J in Casper and Billings have both accidently erased the magnetic strip on my card, one of my co-workers had his card go missing at a TA in Nebraska, someone charged $1,500 on it before the boss was able to get it reported as stolen. I will say that this new policy of putting a pre-purchase estimate on the card is better than before, but it's still a PITA.
TA giveth, and taketh away
