TA just raised shower prices really?

So I am guessing you have platinum status with TA/Petro or drive as a team, because nobody can practically pull off the shower a day with TA/Petro with the changes they made this year. I am now fueling exclusively at TA/Petro, and I pull reefer. So I can conclusively say it cannot really be done. If it can, I and everyone in this forum would like to know.

 

I hope my reply wasn't misleading. I am solo but just prefer TA/Petro for fuel, showers daily and sit down restaurants only. It does not matter to me if I have to pay for a shower or parking because that is my daily regiment. I'm not looking for bargains or free anything but that's just me.

 

I fueled and showered like 3pm so I was not stopping for the night. If TA/Petro went back to free for every 60 gallons I would fuel up TA/Petro. Hopefully they see how they are just making it more difficult to keep fueling their.

 

We still lose out on free shower if we do a 34 reset at TA/Petro or spend the weekend. I don't see myself spending $15 or $30 for showers on the weekend. Especially when it was free in the past. They are making it more difficult to fuel and shower at TA/Petro.

I hope they go back to old shower program. Unless we can bank a couple shower credits it really sucks.

 

That's exactly why some of us don't shower during those times.

 

I am aware of the recent change, but daily showers still wouldn’t be practical for extended periods of time.

 

New Love's showers. Truck stop only open maybe 6 month and free parking. Free shower with 50 gallons.

 

Then they're gooing to have to be much more willing to work out GOOD discounts with the fleets. When you're told where to fuel, the reward program doesn't mean squat. Even if TA/Petro offered 10 points per gallon and 3 showers per 100gal... I still couldn't fuel there, except for limited instances out west where there aren't many Love's.
