I went ahead and bought the one I had my eye on at TA. (It's Naztech brand, by the way.) Works great with my setup, lets me put the phone exactly where I want it. But the magnets are too weak to hold my phone in place.
    The hunt continues....

The problem is, I need one like this Naztech. Scosche doesn't make one like this. I've got a big Qualcomm taking up half my dash, and the majority of places I could put a mount will either block a mirror or put the phone even farther away than it is in my current setup. This one is stable & the base is small & it has a long reach.... it's perfect, but the magnets are worthless. [IMG]

I set mine atop the brake valves and it stays there. Has to be adjusted on roads like I - 5 or in Indiana, but mostly it just sits there.

    t_v Thanks this.

Just add something to grip the metal or the phone will slip off.

    t_v Thanks this.
