The town that my wife is from had one like that at a car wash... could go wash your car and puppy at the same time. Good idea I thought. Never seen one at a truck stop.

Therapy dog, not service dog. Service dog does a function that the owner is physically incapable of doing. Seeing eye dogs are the most common, but there are hearing ear dogs too.
Therapy dogs do wonderful work with PTSD and autistic, but let's face it, almost any dog, pushing its wet nose under the hand of these people will do wonders!skibum_63, passingthru69 and firemedic2816 Thank this. -
