True, but the problem with them going out of business, if nobody takes over operation, is the parking shortage is already bad enough.

I like Love's for the fresh produce, but the last one I was at, the new one in Huntley IL northwest of Chicago, the watermelon cups were smaller than normal but the price was the same. Not sure if it was temporary cuz they're new or if it's the "new and improved" version companywide.bentstrider83 and HoneyBadger67 Thank this.

No problems.
There are others stepping up already.48Packard Thanks this. -
Thanks for the warning. I have $900 combined in reward points from Love's and TA. I only used TA for about the last year and now don't use them. I know with Love's, the majority of my points, you must have activity on your reward account within the last 365 days. That activity can be earning more points or redeeming points. I didn't see any longer term expiration of points in the Love's rules. If anyone knows of any expiration info please post them.
I was shocked to see the 24 month time-limit in the TA rules. The points at AmBest locations seem to expire very quickly, also.48Packard Thanks this. -
If you think anywhere on 80 is bad, try the one at 160 on 70 in Ohio....

'Shrinkflation', while only just now in the news, has been a thing for decades. They're just becoming more blatant about it now. Personally, as a person with near-chronic muscle cramps, I'm disappointed by the lack of decent bananas. It seems they've either been allowed to get too cold, are way under ripe or only suitable for banana bread.slow.rider Thanks this. -
There are a handful of TA`s scattered around the country that I like to park at. I only fuel at one if I plan on getting a shower there. I use loves more often and use those points for equipment

I'm sure it costs TA a fortune to power the time machine that allows their locations to remain locked into the 1970s.Bean Jr., Savor the Flavor, 48Packard and 1 other person Thank this.

Well you know what they say - if you can remember the 1970's, then you weren't having enough fun.
